Kate Middleton has bangs now
The Duchess of Cambridge debuts a new haircut in Scotland
They aren't Zooey Deschanel-type bangs, but Kate Middleton's new hairdo is a fresh look we're only too happy to see her wear. Her fringe was parted slightly off-centre and she wore her beautiful locks half-up.
The mother of two of England's heirs was photographed in her and Prince William's Range Rover – with William at the wheel – on the way to Sunday morning service at Crathie Kirk, a small parish in Crathie, Scotland.
As far as her time in the royal family goes, Kate has pretty much worn her hair long and wavy, with slight layers. Prior to the new chop, her last public appearance was at the 35th America's Cup at Portsmouth Harbour in late July, locks worn in a perfect ponytail (pictured above, left). Earlier that month, however, Kate was seen at Wimbledon with inconspicuous jaw-length layers. We wonder if it was to ease her transition into a shorter fringe.
Kate is making us itch for a hair makeover ourselves, and as she so elegantly demonstrates, one doesn't need a bright dye to make a statement.
