Kanye West Wanted The Bound 2 Parody Performed At His Wedding
James Franco said the Yeezus singer considered getting him and Seth Rogen to perform the music video spoof at Kimye’s nuptials
James Franco had gone on The View with the Of Mice & Men cast on April 22, but what everyone wasn't expecting was this little piece of news from the actor: Kanye West contemplated having him and Seth Rogen re-enact their parody of the Bound 2 music video at Kanye’s wedding with Kim Kardashian.
When James had been asked about the couple's reaction to their own Bound 3 video, he said, "Kim loved the video and we didn't hear back from Kanye so we kind of felt like he's not bashing us, but he probably hates it but he's not going to say anything."
Then came the punch line. When Kanye called James and Seth, the comedy duo thought that it was to tell them off for the parody. "But he loved it. And I'm pretty sure I can say it now because I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. He wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding at Versailles," James said.
He then joked about his This Is The End co-star having his shirt off in front of all the Kardashians – hang on, did James say Versailles? It had been rumoured that Kim and Kanye were looking at having their wedding there, but the Chateau de Versailles' official Twitter post debunked it. Did Kimye have a change of plans? We'll know for sure in a month, tops.
