Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finalise divorce
"Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains," they said
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have finally settled their divorce. To recap: the two split in May this year after just 15 months of marriage because Johnny had allegedly abused Amber. She then filed for a restraining order against him.
The actors released a joint statement: "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity."
Amber has also reportedly dismissed her petition for a restraining order against Johnny, and he has agreed to pay her a fee of $7 million as part of the settlement.
