Downton Abbey may be over, but John Legend just gave it the legendary tribute the British TV series deserves. In an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the singer performed a rendition of the haunting theme song on the piano, but added lyrics to it.

He describes the key elements of the series, which includes the bickering sisters Mary and Edith, feisty Dowager Countess Violet, gay footman and the simple problems of the English aristocratic life ("Let's all ride horses and talk smack").

However, the real highlight is John's final line: "Edith is such a loser, why won't she just die?" Gold, John. Gold.
