John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are on their way to becoming television icons. Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish plans to make a new sitcom based on the couple's marriage.

"It's inspired by them – they're both super creative and super effusive and I'm just fans of them and everything they stand for," Kenya told Buzzfeed. "I'm really excited about it."

Temporarily titled Ordinary People – the same as one of John's old songs – the sitcom may also have John and Chrissy themselves serving as producing partners. They could also just call the project Legendary (ahem).

"I feel that song serves a thematic background for the show," Kenya added. "We don't know what's going to be what. But it will be a part of the show in terms of showing those two world's colliding and coming together – their issues and their obstacles that [happen inside] their personal relationship."

The song is about a love that has gone "past the infatuation phase." Fights and non-fairytale endings are inevitable, and so it suggests "maybe we should take it slow." We're taking these as hints at what the sitcom will be like.

If everything works out, filming starts in February. Brace yourselves for lots of mushy lovey-dovey stuff the two are known for.
