Jessica Biel takes a jab at Justin Timberlake's voting selfie
Justin responds to his wife's teasing
Jessica Biel has cast her vote in the US presidential election, and she made sure to call out her husband Justin Timberlake's close shave with the law when he posted an illegal selfie from inside the voting booth last month. With her "I voted" sticker on her face, she took a few selfies and posted them to Instagram.
"When you're so turnt up about voting that you do a photo shoot with your sticker and think it's cool but then second guess it, but you've already posted, but at least you waited to get home before snapping so you won't almost go to jail, shout out to @justintimberlake," the actress wrote in the caption.
Last month, Justin intended well when he posted a now-deleted photo of himself from his voting booth at Memphis, Tennessee. A new state law prohibits the use of mobile phones "for telephone conversations, recording or taking photographs while inside the polling place." Violators face a $50 fine and up to 30 days in jail.
"Hey! You! Yeah, YOU! I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote!!! No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town too. If not, November 8th! Choose to have a voice! If you don't, then we can't HEAR YOU! Get out and VOTE!" he wrote.
Luckily for Justin, legal action was not taken against him. He did, however, respond to Jessica's jab by writing on a new post "Well played, Wifey. Well played," before adding "Ps. No selfies in the booth." Lesson learned.
