Jennifer Lopez sued for being too sexy
The artist's concert in Morocco apparently disturbed public order
Jennifer Lopez is so hot, she is facing a lawsuit! An education group in Morocco is suing the 45-year-old singer, saying that she "disturbed public order and tarnished women's honour and respect."
The trouble started when Jennifer performed at the Mawazine World Rhythms International Music Festival in Rabat on 29 May. She was wearing a bodysuit, fishnet tights and stiletto boots and, although it wasn't her first concert in Morocco, it was the first time her show has been broadcast on public television.
Artists being criticised for provocative shows is nothing new in conservative countries. Here in Malaysia, numerous concerts have been banned, including Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape tour in 2007, Beyoncé's 2009 concert, which she cancelled after protests, and Erykah Badu's show, which was cancelled because she once had a temporary tattoo of the word 'Allah'. Malaysian authorities also pulled the plug on Kesha's concert in 2013.
JLo, however, successfully managed to stage a concert in Malaysia back in 2012, but was asked to "cover up" for her Indonesian leg.
