Jennifer Lawrence is the highest-paid actress in 2015
Like we didn't guess it already
The odds are ever in Jennifer Lawrence's favour. Leading Forbes World's 18 Highest-Paid Actresses 2015 list is none other than the Hunger Games actress, who earned $52 million (approx. RM216.3 million) over the past year. This comes as no surprise, with the blockbuster Lionsgate film franchise possibly fuelling much of that income.
The 25-year-old clears far from second place-getter Scarlett Johansson's $35.5 million, and bumps off last year's list-topper Sandra Bullock's $51 million. Sandra now places 15th, ahead of Emma Stone, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman.
Melissa McCarthy comes in third, while Fan Bingbing is the only non-American to make the list, at fourth place with $21 million. Others on the list include newlywed Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.
