Jennifer Aniston doesn't want her friends to use Botox
The Hollywood actress shares insight on fashion, beauty, and ageing
Jennifer Aniston won the hearts of many when she first starred in popular TV sitcom Friends, which made its debut 20 years ago. Fast forward two decades later, Jennifer looks like she hasn't aged a day; maybe a few smile lines around the eyes, but at 45, she is an exemplar of graceful ageing.
1. She has one word to describe her T-shirt and jeans style.
"You know what that is? It's just called laziness."
2. She tailors her T-shirts and took the pockets off some jeans.
"The trick to T-shirts is I that I usually tailor them. Which is silly, but it works. Or you just have to find the perfect one... I take the pockets off of Hudson jeans, because I like the fit, but not the pockets."
3. She will not use Botox...
"There is also this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless. I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting shit into my face."
4. ...and she doesn't want people she knows to use Botox either.
"I don't judge it if you do it, but sometimes I wish I could beg the people I know, who I am very near and dear to, to not touch their face."
5. She has a very fierce fiancée (Justin Theroux)
"I also have a fiancé; who will put a gun to my head if I touch my face in any way."
For the record, we're sure she means that last one in the most metaphorical and affectionate way. And the bonus quote comes from Bobbi: "Your body doesn't get thinner, but your hair does. That's how I know God is not a woman."
