Jamie Dornan visited sex dungeon to research 'Fifty Shades' role
Plus, Jessica Biel is pregnant, Pax Jolie-Pitt loves to cook and press appearances for 'The Interview' are cancelled following terror threat
Jamie Dornan went to a sex dungeon for his Fifty Shades role
In an interview in the February issue of ELLE UK, the British actor says he visited a sex dungeon as part of his research for playing the BDSM-loving Christian Grey.
"I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did…whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives," Jamie said. "I was like: 'Come on guys I know I'm not paying for this but I am expecting a show.' It was an interesting evening. Then going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards... I had a long shower before touching either of them."
That's some extensive research, if you ask us, but to the actor, doing the scenes is just that: acting.
"Anyone who thinks actors get turned on doing sex scenes in films is mistaken," Jamie told The Guardian in November. "There are dozens of hairy men standing around, moving cables and lighting equipment. That's not sexy unless you're into being watched, which I'm not."
Speaking of "not sexy," Jamie's walk once fell into that category, but you can expect to see his new strut (which he got after practising) when Christian Grey finally shows up next year.
Jessica Biel is pregnant
The speculation is true! Justin Timberlake's 'N Sync bandmate Joey Fatone has confirmed that Justin and Jessica are expecting their first child together. The couple have not responded personally to the news and rumours, but this is as much verification as we need (congratulations, Justin and Jessica!).
"He told me a while ago, and I kept my mouth shut," Joey said. "But now I can talk about it!" The singer, who now hosts reality cooking TV show Rewrapped, also expressed his confidence in Justin and Jessica's parenting skills.
"Jessica is awesome, and Justin is a kid at heart. [They'll have] fun," he added.
Angelina Jolie doesn't really cook. So who does?
Aside from Brad Pitt, the actress and mother of six revealed that their second child, Pax Thien is quite the budding chef. We'll remind you that the 11-year-old baked his parents' wedding cake.
Angelina, who has been ill with chicken pox, told People that "Pax loves to cook." In addition to doing the cake, Pax even helped with the Thanksgiving turkey and Brad apparently makes such an awesome breakfast that even their kids prefer his pancakes over their mum's. Pax will be looking to his dad for kitchen skills, then. We wonder what the boy will whip up for Christmas.
The Interview cuts press appearances after terror threats
Unidentified hackers have threatened to repeat the 9/11 attacks on cinemas that screen action-comedy film The Interview. Joke or not, Sony Pictures and the film's stars, James Franco and Seth Rogen, are taking it seriously, and forthcoming media appearances have been cancelled.
"The world will be full of fear," the threat read. "Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.) Whatever comes in the coming days is caused by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment."
Buzzfeed reports that Sony Pictures will not object if the film is cut from cinemas. The Interview follows two journalists (played by James and Seth) who score an interview with Kim Jong-Un before being ordered by the CIA to assassinate the North Korean leader.
"At this point, it's too late to have any [second thoughts]," Seth – who co-directed, co-produced and co-wrote the film – said to ABC earlier. "I like the movie. I can't, in my head, over-connect everything surrounding it with the movie itself... We set out to make a movie that was really entertaining to audiences. I genuinely think we did that. And that's where my job ends."
North Korea denied being involved in the scandal, but Variety notes that the country has praised the hackers' actions.
