The Malaysian singer weds Az Yet's Shawn Rivera in an intimate ceremony
Kepong-born singer Jaclyn Victor has officially announced that she said her I-do's on 19 July in the US. The Gemilang songstress wed Puerto Rican singer, Shawn Rivera of Grammy-nominated American R&B group, Az Yet, known for their cover of Chicago's Hard To Say I'm Sorry.
Jaclyn introduced Shawn at a press conference on 12 August, saying that they kept the Philadelphia affair small, with thirty-five family members and close friends present. The couple also shared the exciting news with their fans on Twitter.

"We met here in Malaysia (in January) when Shawn was down to record Magical Moments, a soundtrack from the film Ribbit," said Jaclyn, who rose to prominence after winning the first Malaysian Idol. She and Shawn began a long-distance relationship before tying the knot.
