Is Beyoncé releasing a new album this year?
The Queen Bey is allegedly releasing her new album soon and she is not going to stop until we bow down
Even though we’re still not over Beyoncé's eponymous surprise album (including music videos) that dropped late last year, new pictures leaked all over the internet suggest Bey has a follow-up scheduled to drop later this month. What.
Some sites, including Vulture, have posted details of the new record, which seems to be a sequel to last year's self-titled visual album, titled Beyoncé – Volume 2 and Beyoncé – The Complete Edition. The "private and confidential" picture shows a list of tracks from her previous album, as well as unreleased tracks, guest appearances and a release date of November 14. Which is next week.
We need to breathe for a moment.
But wait a minute, it seems that Vulture has spotted some errors in the picture, "There is one immediately fishy aspect to this, which is the date. As you can see, the digital release date on iTunes is Friday, November 14, and the physical album — a 4-disc set — is set to drop on Monday, November 25. However, it turns out that November 25 is a Tuesday, so either this is an egregious typo (embarrassing!) or some faker is not very good at their calendar."
Before we start thinking it's a hoax, it seems that the song DONK featuring Nicki Minaj has officially been registered with the song publishing association by Beyoncé, The Dream and Pharrell.
Ah, the plot thickens. We don't know if this new album release rumour is true or fake but we think it's best to run away for now, as far as we can before the album drops out of the blue and gives us another anxiety attack. No, ma'am.
