Idris Elba could be the next James Bond
The rumour mill has been busy after one of Amy Pascal's leaked Sony emails revealed that she thinks "Idris should be the next Bond." Idris's reaction to the possibility of replacing Daniel Craig after he completes his run as the British spy (Daniel reportedly has one more 007 film in the works after Spectre) was as cheeky as you'd expect.

The actor has previously expressed in a Reddit AMA session that he'd love to play Bond, but told NPR he doesn't want to be the "black James Bond."

"Sean Connery wasn't the Scottish James Bond, and Daniel Craig wasn't the blue-eyed James Bond, so if I played him, I don't want to be called the black James Bond," he said.

Alicia Keys gives birth
Egypt Daoud Dean has a new baby brother, and his name is Genesis Ali Dean. Proud parents Alicia Keys and Swiss Beatz welcomed their second child together on 27 December 2014 at 1.52am. No photos of baby Genesis just yet, but Alicia's Instagram post shows off his tiny footprints on a little happy birthday card.

"The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! We are so grateful!" Alicia wrote.

Jamie Oliver was almost a Hobbit
All Jamie Oliver had to do was cook for Peter Jackson's 50th birthday, and he would have landed a role as a Hobbit in the film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic.

"The worst thing that happened to me was that I got phoned up by the exec producer and asked did I want to go and cook for Peter Jackson's birthday, the big birthday," he told actress Kate Hudson, who was a guest on his new TV series Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast. "And if I did, they would fly me over and I could be a Hobbit in the film. But I was working, I couldn't get out of it."

It's a shame because Jamie admitted that he really wanted to do it and he'd even try to impress his wife, Jools.

"I would have got right into it as well, I would have taken the costume home and said 'Jools, let's make love!'"

Here's proof that he can look the part if he just lets his hair grow a bit.

Chris Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock are divorcing
Following years of speculation about their relationship, Chris and his wife Malaak announced on Sunday that they have separated. They had been married since 1996.

"After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways," Malaak said in a statement. "Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life's blessings, even when faced with difficulties."

The founder of non-profit salon StyleWorks added that their daughters, Lola Simone and Zahra Savannah "remain at the centre of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives."

Mel B responds to domestic violence gossip
Former Spice Girl Mel B has denied ever being abused by her husband Stephen Belafonte. After she missed a UK X Factor show due to serious stomach pains, rumours began to build that Stephen had abused her. He first took to Twitter to lash back at the speculation.

Mel B posted a photo of her and Stephen on Instagram just hours ago with the caption: "This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon!" she wrote. "I'm very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors."
