Hillary Clinton urges Americans to give Donald Trump a chance to lead
Meanwhile, celebrities take to social media to react to the US presidential election results
When Donald Trump won the US presidential election yesterday, Americans took to social media to express their disbelief and for some others, their happiness. The results shocked many celebrities who had campaigned for Clinton and some decided that despite the outcome, they were willing to accept Trump as America's 45th president while they continue to fight for equality, urging fans and followers to do the same.
Current president Barack Obama also reminded fellow Americans that they're all on the same team despite their respective losses. "Everybody is sad when their side loses an election," he said. "But the day after, we have to remember that we're actually all on one team. This is an intramural scrimmage."
Senator Bernie Sanders who had gone up against both Trump and Clinton in the general election said, "To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him."
Even Hillary had a very encouraging message which she delivered during her concession speech.

Go to my Facebook to see a video of my reaction & reflection on last nights election .... If we want Donald Trump to accept us .... We must be accepting towards his presidency & his promise to "unify" our country and "make America great" .... I leave out the "again" because this country has never been able to live up to its full potential because we've been putting up our own divided walls between each other. We don't need Trump to do that for us.... So WE must take a hammer to the bricks WE built up and be more LOVING and compassionate towards all living things! (including the planet) (p.s. Mr. Elected president..... Global warming IS real. ACCEPT THAT)
