Here is Queen Elizabeth II wearing a Corgi sweater
The perfect royal family Christmas photo has but one twist
Think you have ugly Christmas sweater problems? Not after you see the British royal family wearing festive knits in the Madame Tussauds museum in London – the Queen's is a corgi sweater.
Yes, we hate the reality too – they're just wax figures, but the celebratory gesture is so infectious, we can't wait to dig out our own sweaters for an unapologetic family photo of our own. Alongside Her Majesty is Prince Harry in a penguin sweater, Prince William and Kate Middleton in a joint multi-print sweater (more #couplegoals!), Prince Charles and Camilla matching each other in Santa and Mrs. Claus pullovers, and Prince Philip in what is the most sedate sweater of the lot. But the sweater-wearing corgis are real, all of them.
Short of seeing the real royal family wearing said sweaters, our Christmas season has been made.
Madame Tussauds teamed up with Save The Children for the charity's annual Christmas Jumper Day (16 December) campaign. Donations made to the campaign will go towards helping refugee children build a brighter future for themselves. Put on your Christmas sweater and register at christmasjumperday.org now.
