Fifty Shades premieres at last. Mixed reviews
Dakota Johnson looked stunning in Dior at the Fifty Shades of Grey premiere in Berlin yesterday. Her co-star, Jamie Dornan, was equally dashing in a black suit and navy bow tie. Now why can't they look as good and as comfortable in their interviews?
While we in Malaysia won't be (officially) able to get a good look at the movie, we have gotten a little insight from some of the reviews that are already in. Here are a few of the choice quotes.
"Anastasia is another Bella Swan (Twilight), though with even bigger daddy issues." – Rafer Guzmán, Newsday
"You walk out wondering if you missed something. Wasn't this supposed to be, you know, the sex movie? Wasn't it supposed to be kind of terrible, but at least, you know, gulp, super hot?" – Josh Dickey, Mashable
"Fifty Shades may not make you come, but you'll still be glad you went." – David Ehrlich, Time Out New York
"Before the pervery commences, our hero lowers his trousers and undergarments and in a more conventional sense does to the female lead what Ms James did to the book trade and what Sam Taylor-Johnson does to your chance of seeing an actual penis." – Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
Old Spice Girls songs leaked
Before you start thinking the Spice Girls are making a comeback, calm down – four songs that appeared on Soundcloud yesterday have already been removed, and they were not new. However there's one song, called A Day in Your Life, still up on YouTube (for now). Apparently, the tracks were recorded around the time of the girls' last album (after Ginger's departure). Take a blast to the past with the track below.
Jackie Chan on his 'Datuk' title
As everyone knows, Jackie Chan had the 'Datuk' title bestowed upon him just last week. When he attended a press conference in at the Ritz-Carlton in KL yesterday to promote his new movie, Dragon Blade, he confessed he felt a bit awkward about it.

"Ever since I received the title, I almost forgot I have it. I feel weird when people call me 'Datuk' because all this while people mostly called me 'taiko' (big brother). Just this morning after arriving here, everyone greeted me with 'Datuk' and I just realised that I have the title," he said.
Despite that, Jackie had no problem stealing the show at the press conference as he managed to give thanks and speak in Bahasa Malaysia.
Christina Aguilera and her daughter on People cover
Finally we get to see what Christina Aguilera's daughter looks like, and we can tell you it was worth the wait. The 6-month-old darling, called Summer Rain Rutler, graced the cover of People alongside her Grammy-winning mother this week. How cute is she?
"Her smile lights up a room and I know it melts mama and daddy's hearts. She laughs a ton and is easy to make smile. She just wants to be where the action is!" Christina gushed.
Kanye West to collab with Taylor Swift?
It seems as though making up at the Grammys wasn't enough for these two. We can't tell if Kanye is serious or just pulling one of his stunts again, but he has told Ryan Seacrest that he and Taylor are going to be collaborating.
"Yeah, she wants to get in the studio and we're definitely going to go in," Kanye said. "Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work. I don't discriminate, I don't have an elitism of music because of like how many Grammys or you know the amount of ratings you get on an album. I think everyone loves music whether they love hip-hop, alternative, country and if I could be involved in giving people any type of energy, advice in the studio, whether you're Beyonce, whether you're Taylor Swift, whether you're Jay Z, whether you're Beck, whoever, and they can be reciprocal with that, I'd like to be involved with that."
Wonder what Tay will have to say about this once she's done giving out relationship advice?
