While we can't contain our excitement for the upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast, Disney is giving us yet another way to relive our childhood with Mary Poppins Returns. A sequel to the original 1964 musical which starred the incredible Julie Andrews, this new film has Emily Blunt playing the role of everyone's favourite nanny.

After the first official sneak peek was released, more images have surfaced of Emily and new character Jack the lamplighter, played by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Mary Poppins Returns was written based on author, P.L. Travers' book series and takes place about twenty years after the first film. The Banks children, Jane (Emily Mortimer) and Michael (Ben Whishaw), are now all grown up but their beloved caretaker returns to help the family rediscover joy after Michael suffers a personal loss.

Here's the first look Disney released of Emily as Mary Poppins, wearing a cobalt blue caped coat much like Julie Andrews' original costume. Also, Mary has a new bag, presumably as magical as the last. The nostalgia really kicks in when you realise that she's standing on the edge of Cherry Tree Lane, the street where Mary Poppins first met the Banks family all those years ago.

Mary Poppins Returns has quite the ensemble cast, too. The great Meryl Streep will play Mary Poppins' cousin Topsy Poppins (it's The Devil Wears Prada reunion we never got!), Colin Firth plays president-of-the-bank William Weatherall Wilkins, Angela Lansbury plays a balloon vendor and Julie Walters is Ellen, Michael's housekeeper. Also, Dick Van Dyke, who played the chimney sweeper Bert and bank director Mr. Dawes Sr. in the original film will make a cameo as the latter character's son.

We. Can't. Wait.
