Emma Stone signs on to Cabaret and Harry Styles could have kissed Cara
Meanwhile, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Coldplay may perform at the Super Bowl, but with a price
Emma Stone's Broadway debut
It's not just talk anymore; Emma Stone will be taking to the Broadway stage for the first time as the lead in Cabaret. She is to replace Michelle Williams, who currently plays Sally Bowles in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of the Broadway musical. Emma's run starts this 11 November and ends on 1 February 2015. We've yet to find out who will fill Sally's shoes afterwards, since the company's show dates go on till 29 March 2015 (calling Amanda Seyfried!).
Johnny Depp's daughter to star opposite her father
15-year-old Lily-Rose Depp is going into the family business, having landed a lead role next to her father, Johnny Depp, in an upcoming action-adventure film by Kevin Smith. The film in question, Yoga Hosers is a spin-off of Kevin's 2014 horror film, Tusk, in which Johnny plays legendary ex-cop Guy LaPointe. The actor will reprise the same role in Yoga Hosers, while Lily-Rose makes her silver screen debut as Colleen, a yoga fanatic.
Harry Styles turns down acting role
Film powerhouse Harvey Weinstein revealed that he had offered Harry Styles his break into acting, but the One Direction singer was too busy with his band's touring schedule to dive into the hundred billion-dollar industry.
Consequently, as Matthew Morrison took up the role as Mattheus in Tulip Fever, Harry missed out on kissing former flame Cara Delevingne onscreen. We're not sure if Harry would see that as a loss; we can imagine making out with your ex would be awkward, whether or not it's pretend. #1Dforever.
Rihanna, Coldplay and Katy Perry may perform at the Super Bowl
The NFL has reportedly decided to change things up for the 2015 Super Bowl, by asking the performing artist to "contribute a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour income" to the League in exchange for the honour of playing at half time.
Narrowing down its list of performers at the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL has tapped Rihanna, Coldplay and Katy Perry. No word yet on whether any one of the three has accepted the offer, although we bet a spot at the highly publicised gig must be hard to resist.
