Ed Sheeran fractured his arms, says it may affect upcoming shows
The singer is due to perform in Kuala Lumpur on 14 November. You can freak out now
[Updated 20 October] Ed Sheeran has had to cancel his upcoming shows in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong after his doctors confirmed that he fractured his right wrist and left elbow, leaving him "unable to perform live concerts in the immediate future." Whether or not he performs in Kuala Lumpur on 14 November will depend on the healing progress.
Ed Sheeran has been in a bicycle accident, which left him with a broken arm. He was reportedly knocked off his bike after colliding with a car in London.
The singer posted an Instagram photo of his right arm in a cast, and left in an arm sling. Ed is currently on his Divide world tour, and he is due to perform in Kuala Lumpur on 14 November – less than a month away. However, Ed said that his injury may affect his upcoming shows; this would worry fans as he performs solo with his guitars.
"I've had a bit of a bicycle accident and I'm currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news," he wrote.
Here's to a speedy recovery, Ed. Malaysia can't wait for your return.
