When David Beckham visited Kuala Lumpur during his AIA #WhatsYourWhy Healthy Living Tour last Friday, the former football player had already made stops in Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore.

Even when not touring Asia-Pacific, David is no stranger to constant travelling. He and his genetically-blessed family (that's wife/designer Victoria and his four gorgeous kids – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper) also split their time between their main home in England and summer abode in Los Angeles.

With all his travel expertise, we had to ask the man how he deals with jetlag.

"When you're travelling so much, to not get enough sleep is such a big thing. Sleep's so important as well as drinking a lot of water," David said.

While he admitted that jetlag "is not really something you can get away from", he shared that a little exercise might help reduce the effects.

"I find it easy that when I land in a place, I go to the gym, go for a walk or a run and that kind of settles me and I try to sleep well that night," he said.

As for his on-the-road fitness regime, David also shared what keeps him in such good shape.
"I box, I like to cycle indoors and I try to run as often as possible but it doesn't happen that much," he added with a laugh.

Ah, the struggles of being a world-famous celebrity.
