Can someone explain what is going on with Robert Pattinson's hair?
Besides RPatz's hair, Prince took a selfie, Madonna's old clothes have sold for a major price and Jeff Goldblum got married
What happened to Robert Pattinson's hair?
Now, we're not as shallow as you might think. If a celebrity (okay, a male celebrity), cuts their hair, we wouldn't usually bother writing about it. But consider this a style public service announcement for Robert Pattinson.
Last night, the Twilight star – who typically rocks a signature "controlled chaos" bedhead – was spotted chilling with his new girlfriend, FKA Twigs. The only difference is, he was seen wearing a cap and underneath that cap there was no hair?
Sort of. We spotted a few strands from some angles, but it's clear that RPatz has shaved the sides of his head. Maybe rocking a Mohawk? To fit in with his edgy new girl? Or maybe for a movie? We don't know. But we're bummed we didn't get to say goodbye to his bedhead.
Prince took a selfie with a proper camera
It seems that pretty much the only thing Prince can't do is take a picture with a mobile phone. So when it came time for the Purple Rain singer and style purist to take his first selfie, he of course took it with a real proper DSLR camera. What is an iPhone?
Such a gorgeous man.
According to Prince's publicist, the petite one can't take selfies on a mobile phone because he doesn't even own one. He jokingly says, "We ban their usage anywhere around Us because We're allergic 2 lithium and 'Everybodyelsies.'" Funny.
Some people spent too much money on Madonna's old clothes
If you think that Madonna is irrelevant in the music industry today, then you need to get yourself educated. For proof of Her Madgesty's enduring importance, just see the results from earlier this week, when Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills held an Icons & Idols: Rock 'n' Roll charity auction that included some of the legend's most iconic outfits.
Among the pieces up for grabs were the pink gown from the Material Girl video, which went for a cool US$73,125 (approx. RM245,000), and the wedding dress she wore in 1985 when she married Sean Penn, which sold for US$81,250 (approx. RM270,000). Some more modest bids were made on a dress she wore in Evita, which was sold for the bargain price of $15,000 (around RM50,000) and the softball uniform she sported in A League of Their Own, which went to a Rockford Peach fan for $31,250 (about RM105,000).
However, the highest bid was for the famous pyramid jacket she wore in 1985's Desperately Seeking Susan, which went for $252,000 (more than RM840,000). Looks like somebody got too much money to spend.
Jeff Goldblum is a married man!
Third time's the charm, eh? Jeff Goldblum has tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Emilie Livingston after more than three years of courting. The couple said their vows last weekend at LA's Chateau Marmont hotel surrounded by their close friends and family. A source told Us Weekly that Jeff played the piano and sang for his wife during the reception. Aww!
Jeff's new wife Instagrammed a photo of the Champagne from her wedding to the 62-year-old (62?!) with a caption: "Excited to see our pictures from our photographer but right now feeling so loved after a magical and enchanting evening on Saturday!!!"
Congratulations, Jeff and Emilie!
