As children, many of us can't wait to be grown-ups. By the time we're in our thirties we're frantically trying to turn back the clock.

It's time we took a lesson from Cameron Diaz, then. Cameron is 41, but she loves every bit of her age.

"It is the best time of my life. I love being this age, are you kidding?" the San Diego Native, who is to star in upcoming comedy The Other Woman, said in an interview.

Granted, the blue-eyed actress may be tall, skinny, gorgeous, and a Hollywood A-lister, but she maintains that ageing is something that needs to be viewed differently.

From the perspective of an actress, she said "The most interesting parts are for women who are over 40. We don't see it that way, because they're not the sexy parts... We're not giving those women enough credit for what they're accomplishing, which is beautiful performances."

Considering international legends Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, and Judi Dench, we see her point.
