Brit Awards 2016: Adele cries and swears as she wins four awards
See highlights from Britain's biggest music awards night
The very best thing about the Brit Awards is that they've put the entire show up on YouTube for everyone to watch (thank you, Brit Awards). Click the video above to see all three glorious hours of performances, acceptance speeches and Adele.
Oh, Adele. The singer, once on a hiatus, won four awards (British Album of the Year, British Single, British Female Solo Artist and Brits Global Success) losing only to One Direction's Drag Me Down for British Artist Video.
"To come back after so long away and be so warmly received is really lovely, thank you so much," she gushed as she went onstage to collect her British Female Solo Artist trophy. "And to all the other girls that were nominated, thank you for letting me be in your company. You're all incredible, you're all amazing and it's a privilege to be alongside you."
By the time she got to accepting her fourth and final award for the night, the British Album of the Year, she had to apologise for her ugly cry face and swearing. She also dedicated her win to her fans as well as her boyfriend Simon Konecki and their son Angelo (she calls him Peanut, aww).
Adele also redeemed herself with a stunning performance of When We Were Young and just like that, everyone has probably forgotten about her Grammy Awards audio kerfuffle. Skip to the 2:54:00 mark in the full show video to watch her sing.
David Bowie was posthumously awarded with the Brit Awards 2016 Icon Award; this was accepted on his behalf by actor and close friend Gary Oldman after singer Annie Lennox gave a tribute speech about David.
"David you were mortal, but your potential was superhuman," Gary said, "and your remarkable music is living on. We love you and we thank you."
David's band went on to perform a mash-up of his biggest songs (go to 2:24:00 in the main video) before New Zealand singer Lorde joined in for Life On Mars and took our breaths away. In other performance news, Rihanna and Drake relived their raunchy Work music video onstage.
