Brad Pitt enjoys taking direction from Angelina Jolie

If any husband-and-wife venture was one to be jealous of, this is it

When you think about it, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie deserve a lot of admiration for being able to work together as a married couple. Not that it's impossible to have your spouse as a colleague, but with the pressure that comes with Hollywood, working together without sacrificing marriage and family takes a lot of cooperation.

"It was probably not the wisest way to spend a honeymoon," Brad said of their film By The Sea in a V Magazine interview. They married in August 2014 and then spent their honeymoon period working on the film, which is the second time they have ever played co-stars since Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005. "But then again, fighting to make something together... What better metaphor for marriage?"

The two stars portray husband and wife again in By The Sea, which Angelina also wrote and directed. Brad gushed about how good she was at her job.

"Naturally I didn't want to fail Angie's ideas...her words...but really I had absolute faith we'd figure it out," he said. "It's surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. She's decisive, incredibly intuitive, knife-sharp, and might I say, sexy at her post. I trust her with my life."

"For this one I operated on pure instinct," Brad added. "Angie and I have too much history and understanding of each other to question beyond there. At the end of the day, we get to be parents, greeting our lovely, crazy children and talking about their day, making sure they brush their teeth, so all the tension from our day is tabled... until the next."

Contain your jealousy, people.
