Ben Affleck is taking on a triple role for a standalone Batman movie. He plans to not only play the masked crusader and co-write the script with DC Entertainment creative Geoff Johns, but he may even direct the film, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Warner Bros. has yet to confirm this, but fans anticipate big news from the company at its San Diego Comic Con panel presentation this Saturday. Hopefully, DC-related announcements will include details about Ben's project.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and actors Henry Cavil, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter are expected to attend the panel along with Ben.
