Bella Hadid is Tag Heuer's new ambassador
A great way to cap off Bella's very emotional New York Fashion Week
Bella Hadid is TAG Heuer's newest ambassador, joining the ranks of Cara Delevingne, Martin Garrix, and graffiti artist Alec Monopoly. Her new appointment was announced at the Equinox gym on Bond Street in New York last night, moments after she closed Oscar de la Renta's runway show.
"I don't stop, I don't crumble and I certainly #DontCrackUnderPressure!" Bella wrote on Instagram. Damn straight, Bella.
Bella might've appeared poised and put-together, but the 20-year-old had already cried twice at New York Fashion Week – one at Prabal Gurung's AW17 show and another at Oscar de la Renta's – though neither emotional episodes were the bad kind.
"I had blue makeup on like five minutes ago. I'm just so tired right now. It's so crazy, I'm like exhausted but I'm so happy and so thankful – it's been such an amazing past two days – I just closed Oscar and cried before I went out – and it's still going," she told WWD at the TAG Heuer event, literally right after the de la Renta show.
"I don't know if it's just a very emotional week, but that show has always been something really big to me," she explained in another interview with Fashionista. "It's such an iconic brand and I've always looked up to the designers [Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim]. I cried when I got the show in general, and then when I heard I was closing, I was at a loss for words. [That dress] was so beautiful; when I first tried it on, it was so incredible."

As for crying at Prabal's slogan-filled show, "I went out and walked, and right before finale, when Prabal was about to go walk, I saw him tearing up and I just started crying because it was such a beautiful, moving show," Bella said. "Everybody in the audience was crying during the finale; it was really, really powerful and I'm really proud of him. It was incredible."
Crying, the new way to not crack under pressure.
