United Nations ambassador Emma Watson has started a feminist book club called Our Shared Shelf on GoodReads.com and the first book on the agenda is Gloria Steinem's My Life on the Road.

"The plan is to select and read a book every month, then discuss the work during the month's last week (to give everyone time to read it!)," Emma explained. "I will post some questions/quotes to get things started, but I would love for this to grow into an open discussion with and between you all."

She also hopes that the author of the book of the month or "another prominent voice on the subject" will join the conversation.

Why should you join Emma's book club? First of all, you are going to learn so much from reading and discussing about books the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador selects. Also, she might be inviting Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and singer Taylor Swift to sign up; how many times can you say you're in the same club as them?
