Anugerah Juara Lagu winners
Plus Grease is being remade, Jay Chou marries and Sia performs on SNL with Maddy Zeigler
Winners of Anugerah Juara Lagu
Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil last night hosted one of Malaysia's most popular music competitions, Anugerah Juara Lagu (Champion of the Songs Award). The night's big winners were Joe Flizzow and Sonaone, who claimed the trophy with their duet How Are You (Apa Khabar).
Organised by TV3, the annual event celebrates Malaysia's best musical and lyrical compositions. Fans can nominate their favourite songs throughout the year on Muzik Muzik and watch the artists progress into the semi-finals. A total of 12 songs will be selected by a panel of judges and the best artist will win the title.
In second place was Sheila Hamzah with Do I Still Love (Masih Aku Cinta), while Dayang Nur Faizah won third place as well as the award for best vocalist with At Heaven's Door (Di Pintu Syurga). Mojo won best performance for Romancelove (Romancinta). Check out the rest of the finalists here.
Grease is being remade with Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens
We're not sure how we feel about news that our favourite rock 'n' roll musical, Grease, will be remade by Fox as a live TV musical next year, with Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens among the cast.
Julianne will fill Olivia Newton-John's role of Sandy, while Vanessa will be Rizzo, the bad-girl boss of the Pink Ladies. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on which sexy John Travolta lookalike will take the tricky Danny Zuko role.

"Grease is one of the movies that made me want to be an entertainer, and I have literally been waiting my whole life to play Sandy," Julianne said. "My siblings and I watched it and played it out over and over when we were kids. This is my dream role and performing it live on television will be one of the most thrilling opportunities I've had in my career so far."
Sadly, we've got a whole year to wait before we see how Julianne does in the role. Grease Live is schedule to air, in the US at least, on 31 January next year.
Jay Chou marries sweetheart Hannah Quinlivan
Taiwanese pop-king Jay Chou has posted photos of his wedding to 21-year-old model Hannah Quinlivan on his Facebook page, causing fans everywhere to go into meltdown. The couple were married in Selby Abbey, an 11th-century church, in England yesterday, Jay's 36th birthday.

Hannah, who was walked down the aisle by her Australian father, wore a beautiful Tudor-inspired gown with a heart-shaped cut-out on the back. Despite the age gap, Jay said "my mental age is about the same as hers and we just get along like children." He also composed a song which was played by a string orchestra at the ceremony. Congratulations (through our tears) to the happy couple!
Sia performs with Maddy Ziegler on Saturday Night Live
Shy Aussie singer Sia once again managed to dodge the public eye by obscuring her face with a black veil to perform Elastic Heart on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. Sia's other ploy to avoid attention was having Maddie Zeigler, the Dance Moms prodigy, join her on stage in her platinum wig and nude leotard for the performance. Sadly, there was no Shia LaBeouf this time. Watch the captivating performance here.
