Anne Hathaway is flattered by comparisons to Amal Clooney
It has been made known to doe-eyed Anne Hathaway that she resembles an also rather doe-eyed Amal Clooney. When Extra's Tracey Edmonds told her this, the actress replied "I've never heard that. Thank you! That's like so going to be the best thing that happens to me today."

Appearances aside, Anne hopes to be able to "half the woman that [Amal] is. She's so accomplished and it's so thrilling to look at someone and be like, 'Wow you really are making the world a better place.'"

Jessica Chastain's thoughts on marriage
There are some women who plan to eventually get married and settle down, and then there are others who don't feel like it's what they want (or need) to do. Jessica Chastain, who is currently dating Count Gian Luca Passi di Preposulo (an executive at Moncler), is part of the latter group.

"I'm not quite sure of what I want in my life, and who knows if marriage is a part of it," Jessica told People. "So to me, marriage is not an important thing."

Time will tell if her Italian romance with a real life Count doesn't sweep her off her feet and change her mind.

Zooey Deschanel is engaged
Back to the first school of thought about marriage, Zooey Deschanel is engaged to producer Jacob Pechenik, Us Weekly confirms. The news comes shortly after the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together. She is due this summer, but it is still unknown if they'll marry before or after their baby is born. Zooey was married to Death Cab for Cutie vocalist Ben Gibbard for three years before they finalised their divorce in 2012.

Chelsia Ng is to star in a Hokkien film
After re-launching her debut album Here With You in 2014, Malaysian acterss and singer-songwriter Chelsia Ng has something new to look forward to. She will play a foul-mouthed prostitute named Vivian in Hai Ki Xin Lor (You Mean the World to Me), a Hokkien film adaptation of a stageplay of the same name by Saw Teong Hin.

Award-winning Hong Kong-based cinematographer Christopher Doyle, who is known for his extensive work in Chinese language films will begin shooting Hai Ki Xin Lor in May, according to The Star. Teong Hin, who also directed Puteri Gunung Ledang, will helm the film.

Johnny Depp doesn't approve of actors-turned-musicians
Johnny Depp is nearly a triple threat – because he can't really dance – and he loves music, but he is "sickened" by how some actors use their fame to become a recording artist (ahem, Lindsay Lohan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Russell Crowe and Scarlett Johansson).

"I've been very lucky to play on friends' records and it's still going. Music is still part of my life," he told reporters at the Mortdecai premiere in Berlin. "But you won't be hearing The Johnny Depp Band. That won't ever exist."

"I hate the idea, 'come see me play the guitar because you've seen me in 12 movies,'" he added. "It shouldn't be [that way]. You want the people who are listening to the music to only be interested in the music."

Well, there's your advice from the Hollywood chameleon, Hollywood.
