Amy Schumer was very excited to be hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time.

"I am so happy to be here," she gushed to cheers from the crowd last weekend. "I'm hosting Saturday Night Live!"

The first thing she did in her opening monologue was to tackle the topic about being better role models for young girls. She also cracked a joke about the Kardashians (ah, good ol' Amy).

"We have to be a role model for these little girls cause who do they have? All they have literally is the Kardashians," she said. "A whole family of women who take their faces they were born with as like, a light suggestion? Is that great? No!"

Amy also recounts how she met Bradley Cooper, who she said was even more eager than her to hang out. A thirty-minute conversation with him left her feeling like she was not just dating Bradley, but engaged to him.

Her conclusion was simple: "It is an exciting time for women in Hollywood. It really is!"

Later on, one of the sketches she did involved a malfunctioning plane door, which throws her out the plane, mid-flight, while she was in the middle of a Spice Girls number with her fellow air stewardess.
