K-pop girl group 4Minute is reportedly disbanding, according to allkpop.com. The group, which consists of Nam Ji-Hyun, Heo Ga-Yoon, Jeon Ji-Yoon, Kim Hyun-A, and Kwon So-Hyun, have been in contract with Cube Entertainment for seven years.

Multiple sources say that only Hyun-A (who also has her own solo career under the company) has re-signed with Cube Entertainment while the others are still considering renewing their contracts.

An insider told Soompi.com: "The course that each member is thinking of for their singing and acting careers are different and so after many months of debate, they decided it was hard to keep the group going as it is. HyunA has re-signed, a few are in discussion for renewal, and a few will leave the agency."

Group leader Ji-Hyun previously mentioned how the renewal of their contracts depended on the success of their seventh mini album Act 7.

"This album's success will have a huge impact on whether or not our members will resign a contract. That's why we're working on meetings with the company. This album has to do well so that we can do well," she said.

Cube Entertainment has yet to confirm the reports but fans have already had meltdowns on Twitter. See some of the best reactions below.
