Video: Shiseido

This new ad created for Shiseido was released just six days ago and is already going viral. Japanese commercials are already known for being super outstanding, but with this one, when you hit the middle and something mind blowing happens, jaws drop (ours did).

The ad starts with what appears to be a teacher opening the door to a classroom full of Japanese schoolgirls languishing around, and as the camera pans to each student there are cold stares, winks and a rock chick wielding a guitar.

The camera then focuses on a girl reading a Japanese book, stopping at a page that says "Did you notice there are boys in this classroom?". That's the moment when you stop and go 'what boys?!'. Watch it for yourself above.

At the end the video finishes with the tagline "anyone can be cute". Watch the behind the scenes vid here. The transformative power of makeup (Shiseido makeup) to change anyone (guys included) never fails to amaze.
