Watch the teaser for Chanel's new Chance Eau Vive fragrance
Jean-Paul Goude directs the campaign film
A lovely new addition to Chanel's fragrance arsenal is Chance Eau Vive, which lives up to its energetic name with citrusy notes of grapefruit and blood orange, mixed with musky chords. Jean-Paul Goude was put in charge of translating this energy in the campaign film, slated for release on 10 June.
The French photographer and graphic designer is known for his work in advertising films, including the Coco Chanel perfume birdcage ad starring Vanessa Paradis in 1991. His take on the Chanel Chance Eau Vive explores the story of a strong-willed woman, who embodies the spirit behind the new fragrance.
The 7-second teaser hints that the ad has something to do with a bowling alley, so look out for it tomorrow to see if we're right.
