We’ve got an exclusive look at the beauty backstage at Dior Cruise 2015. The look – lashy, graphically lined eyes with dewy, natural skin and nude lips – was created by Peter Phillips in his first runway appointment for the house.

“I wanted to create make-up that was both light and sophisticated, in keeping with the Cruise spirit, fluid
clothing and the summery atmosphere,” Peter said. “The common theme in this collection is in fact the colour black, which links all thelooks together. Raf Simons and I wanted the make-up to be graphic and elegant, to accentuate both the beauty of the silhouettes, and this omnipresent black colour.”

The eyes were created using the new Dior It-line eyeliner in black, over shadows from the 5 Couleurs Palette. Lashes were coated with Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof or Dior Addict It-Last Mascara, and the eyebrows were filled in with Diorskin Powder Eyebrow Pencil.

The Diorskin Star foundation was used for a semi-matte complexion, and a light wash of colour came from the DiorBlush Vibrant Colour Powder in My Rose. Finally, lips were kept simple and natural with Rouge Dior in Trompe-l’Oeil.
