Dolce & Gabbana has unveiled one part of their latest beauty ad, starring silver screen legend Sophia Loren. She is fronting the Rose Excelsa spring campaign, looking breathtakingly stunning at 81 years of age.

Directed by the legendary Giuseppe Tornatore with a soundtrack by Ennio Morricone (they spared no expense), this clip is titled "Rinascita - Act One". Sophia sets upon Villa Valguanera, an ancient, eroded family home in Sicily, accompanied by five strapping young (model) sons. Out to restore the property to its former glory, we see shots of Sophia plastering walls and going at a bramble bush with a saw (not pruning shears, mind you).

Sophia is one of three Oscar winners to be featured on the project. This brings us right back back the D&G Sophia Loren No. 1 Lipstick that launched last year, that everyone was grabbing for. The ads cement her status as an everlasting Italian beauty icon. Bellissima!
