Pat McGrath introduces a new Max Factor collection
The brand returns to the US with a limited collection
Iconic makeup brand Max Factor, which was discontinued in America in 2010, has made a welcome return with a new limited-edition collection. You can credit the brand's US comeback to its creative design director and makeup legend Pat McGrath.
The collection, pictured below, consists of Masterpiece MAX Mascara, Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Eye Liner and two lipstick shades. Pat said that these products were designed to help beauty enthusiasts recreate the perfect cat eye look.
"We specifically curated a collection of glamour essentials that would offer a fresh, modern twist on an iconic look – a sexy cat eye with a pop of nude or rose-coloured lipstick," Pat told ELLE.com. "The cat eye is so iconic and can be reinvented in so many different ways and the lipsticks in both nude and rose colour add the perfect final touch."
She also shared about her favourite products from the collection. "It's so hard to choose [a favourite product] because they all work so well as a collection," she said. "But I love the Masterpiece MAX Mascara. Who doesn't want voluminous lashes?"
The new collection isn't available to us in Malaysia, but we can always enlist the help of our friends in the States or put the peer-to-peer personal shopping platform Shop and Box to good use. After all, comebacks like these only happen once in a blue moon.
