Madonna Has A New Skincare Line

Watch the promo video for MDNA Skin

Video: MDNA Skin

Madonna launched her skincare line MDNA Skin this February and the promo video, released last week, is already making waves. The black and white commercial features haunting music in the background (we can't tell if it's a Madonna track) and is interspersed with breathy voiceovers by the Queen of Pop herself.

“Touch my skin” she drawls in the advertisement, lifting up her skirt at one juncture to show us a strap of suspender and a hint of underwear. Choice phrases like “Having good skin is important to me”, “Your body smells of honey from the comb” and our favourite, “Your amber silken skin smells of your mind” are whispered seductively as juddering shots of legs, suspenders, bathtubs and Madonna herself flicker on-screen.

While we're not entirely sure what all this has to do with skincare, we're pleased to see that pop's original enfant terrible hasn't lost her touch. The three-part skincare line consists of a chrome clay mask, skin rejuvenator and serum. MDNA Skin is currently only sold in Japan.
