The lipstick that's been taking over your social media feeds is no ordinary lipstick. It's a transparent jelly lipstick that has a flower inside the bullet. Yup. And you thought you've seen it all.

The company responsible for it is Kailijumei, which is based in China and, according to their website, recently expanded to the US. Since the brand first surfaced about a month ago, the lipsticks have sold out numerous times.

Why is it going viral? Point number one will have you sold already.

1. The shade changes
The lipstick looks transparent, but it actually produces a glossy pinkish tint, which differs according to your body temperature; the warmer you are, the darker the shade. The brand currently offers four flower variations, Flame Red, Hot Pink, Minutemaid and Barbie Doll Powder.

2. It looks really pretty
One of the main selling points of the lipstick is, obviously, the flower inside the bullet. The flower can be removed once you've used up enough of the bullet to reach it. Or as the good people at Kailijumei said, "Just stop using it."

3. Kailijumei has other products
And the expansion continues: the brand also offers colourless lip balms and a range of plain lipsticks without flowers. They're available at $25 (approx. RM105).

4. Kailijumei is cruelty-free
Kailijumei claims that unlike many China-based beauty product manufacturers, it does not test its products on animals.

5. Kailijumei uses natural ingredients
The lipsticks contain natural ingredients like candelilla resin, cocoa butter, beeswax and lavender oil.

6. Kailijumei ships internationally
The flower lipstick range is currently out of stock, but keep your eye on their website and Instagram for updates. The lipsticks are available at $30 (approx. RM125) each.

7. Cute name, Kailijumei
Is it just us or does the name sound like 'Kylie Jenner'?
