Innisfree wants you to use a handkerchief to save the environment
Girls' Generation singer Yoona and actor Lee Min-ho get behind the Korean brand's eco-friendly campaign
Put your tissues away – Innisfree has three new eco-handkerchiefs you'll want to keep on you instead. Not just because they're reusable and versatile, but also because the new designs for this year are just too lovely.
Innisfree's yearly Eco-Hankie Campaign started in 2010 as an effort to get its customers to prioritise the conservation of the environment. This year, three designs were created with illustrations of Jeju Island's dolphins and haenyeo (badass female divers from Jeju who dive deep into the sea without breathing equipment to harvest seafood for a living).
The special edition design extends to Innisfree's Green Tea Seed Serum (RM120, 160ml), Green Tea Seed Cream (RM115, 100ml) and Water Glow and Long Wear Cushion Special Set (RM80, cushion 15g and refill 15g).
For the entire month of June, customers will be rewarded at any Innisfree store when they choose not to use a bag for their purchases, keeping with the eco-friendly theme. Do this and receive one eco-handkerchief for purchases above RM30, while stocks last. Those who spend even more have additional benefits to look forward to: hit a total bill of over RM120 to take home a Jeju Volcanic Trial Kit and eco-handkerchief, or spend more than RM210 to receive a limited edition eco-bag and handkerchief.
