How to get glowing skin under 10 minutes
Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss shows us how to get that pre-makeup glow in five easy steps
Having a meticulous, carefully curated beauty routine is good for your skin but what happens when you oversleep and only have 10 minutes to spare before you race out the door? Supermodel Karlie Kloss and skin expert Georgia Louise show us just how to make the best of precious minutes.
Step 1: Spend 20 seconds splashing your face with ice water
"It's going to tighten and brighten your skin," Georgia says much to Karlie's disbelief.
Step 2: Use a cream mask and massage your face with it
"Versus a cleanser, it's more effective, it's got more properties, and really like, pushes in all the excess ingredients," said Georgia.
Step 3: To hydrate, use a serum instead of a cream to avoid caking
"It really helps to hydrate, it's the most hydrating product but it's not so heavy because you don't really wanna feel heavy with cream before all that makeup."
Step 4: Tapotement
"It's a Swedish technique and it basically reenergises and stimulates and awakens the skin."
Step five: Massage your face with freeze sticks (or teaspoons kept overnight in the freezer)
"It totally helps to drain the skin, and if you stick them on your eyes, it depuffs."
