Gisele Bündchen talks nature and fragrance for Chanel
She walks among trees, sings, strums the guitar and looks beyond perfect in the new videos
In two new videos for Chanel fragrances, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, the unmistakable face of their No. 5 perfume ad campaigns, talks about how nature and fragrance translate to emotion for her. She sashays around the woods surrounding her East Coast country house, looking sublimely perfect.
The 35-year-old muses that being in nature is being in her element. "I love the smell of nature. After it rains, the smell of the earth is my favourite smell. It just smells like wet earth." And speaking of scents, she reminisces about the earliest scents she remembers. "I remember my mum's perfume – I remember her scent, so I hope my kids remember my perfume. Maybe a mum's scent is not something you can forget, right?"
In this very intimate conversation, she also reveals that meditation and yoga helps her to find her centre. "So you have to know who you are and you have to connect with that place within yourself that knows who you are, knows your essence, knows that you come from love."
