Cara Delevingne has just been named the face of Dior's new anti-ageing skincare line, Capture Youth. Yes, the model is 25 years old, but her youth and the concept of anti-ageing do not make an odd pair – in fact, Capture Youth is targeted towards preventative measures in delaying the onset of ageing. Cara's flawless skin makes her the perfect fit for the campaign.

The Capture Youth skincare line is a collaboration between Dior Science and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Research between the two institutions found that the glyoxalase, the skin's defense system against oxidation, weakens over time. This leads to visible premature signs of ageing that worsens if the glyoxalase continues to oxidise.

And so, the team came up with a solution, infusing iris flower into all Capture Youth Creme and Serums. The active ingredient found in the flower boosts the skin's radiance and luminosity. Although it takes up to three years to cultivate the extract, the results are so worth it.

The conclusion? You're never too young to start preserving your skin's vitality. With Cara as the face of the line, we're all for capturing our youth here and now.
